主要食用其根及莖部。

 

紅景天 Rhodiola rosea

在《神農本草經》記載:「紅景天為君,主養命應天,無毒,多服久服不傷人,欲輕身益氣,不老延年者。」便稱其為上品之藥。生長在嚴酷的氣候環境下,多半在海拔1萬英尺且氧氣濃度較低的寒冷地帶。
